Hall of Fame

The Aspen Hall of Fame hosted it's 21st straight induction banquet at the Doerr-Hosier Center at the Aspen Institute.   Honored by the Board this year were Mary Hayes and David and Sigrid Stapleton.

Ms. Hayes has been contributing to The Aspen Times for more than 50 years.   If you've spent any real time in Aspen you've probably had your picture snapped by the "wily one" --- Mary Eshbaugh Hayes.  She shoots for the "other" society page in town.

The Stapletons' roots run as deep as they get in Aspen.  David's great gramps made the mule trip over Independence Pass in the 1880's.  They've been involved in everything in Aspen since then.

Aspen Spin is counting on a spot in the Aspen HOF---class of 2040.  Until then we're establishing our own WALL of FAME.   Keep clickin' to see if you made the Wall of Fame.
