DUMP-Cember.

Is it possible to have "too much fun"?  This past week we got close to that rarified place--- excessive recreation.  With all the POW, PARTIES and PEOPLE ----Aspen's  blowing up,  it's simply out of control.  To much snow and not enough sleep has been our world this week.

Ski-Co. came up with a cute name for Aspen's recent good fortune with snow accumulation, they're calling it--DEEP-Cember.  We however,  prefer our monikerfor the month----DUMP-Cember.  We've got to give credit to a loyal A-Spinner --Dr. Jack Folbe who coined the phrase ----DUMP-Cember but we're claiming it as our own.   That's just what it's been, Dump-Cember.  We're only a couple inches off the record for most snowfall ever recorded in Aspen during the month of December----ever.  Let's break off that weak sh*t today!!!  A few more inches will put 2007 in the record books.  The recent sub-zero cold snap has not helped our well-heeled guests to acclimatize.  For those who are actually layering up and willing to venture outside for skiing, well,  they're finding super-soft, primo, 5-star conditions up on the mountain ---every day.  But yes-- minus 12 is considered chilly.                                                        1637062-1235732-thumbnail.jpg

Secondary to the skiing, is the party scene which is raging 24/7.   Our latest photo album,  entitled It's All Good can give you some insight into that.  Certainly, one of the highlights was Dennis Basso's FreeStyle 2007.  A first class Fashion Show and Auction.  FreeStyle 2007 is the Winter fundraising event for our good friends at The Aspen Art Museum.  Basso, a world famous fashion designer attracted the 600 most affluent people in town (visitors and locals alike) to the mega-posh event at the St Regis.  The beautiful people were feted with Champagne from Moet & Chandon and Models were everywhere.  Can you go to re-hab for to much modelizing?   Co-Sponsors of the event were Bulgari, Aspen Magazine and Sentient Jets.  We don't have an " official tote" yet, but A-Spin is guessing that AAM raised well over $1 million at the gala.  Check out the pix---and yes---we like models.

Click into IT's ALL GOOD and see why most people need a vacation from their vacation to A-Town.

If you haven't figured it out yet--- click on IT's ALL GOOD to see the pix.
