38th Annual Buck-Off

The Buck-Off is a rite of spring. The traditional event was established by the infamous ski gang, The Bell Mountain Buckaroos, in 1971. The on-mountain free-for-all takes place on The Ridge of Bell at 1pm on the last day of the season. About 250 skiers lined up to strut their stuff down the Ridge. Disclaimer: The ski patrol does not sanction the Buck-Off. Also notice the fat-boy skis on the patroller and the pretty lady in blue. No one can remember better snow conditions on the final day---ever.

Mountain Top

Kenny C., and ski-pro Neil Hillier stand behind one of the sexiest couples in Aspen, Adrian and Heike Burns atop Ajax.

Dead Head Sled

Sam Ferguson is one of the top sled-skiers in the USA. He displays his Grateful Dead sticker prominently on his mono-ski. He's here with back country legend Hugh Burrows at the Peanut Butter Point bash.

Maybe you've seen Sam taking air on Ajax or skiing the bowl at Aspen Highlands---with a little help from his friends.

Aspen Peak Editor, Erin Lentz celebrated her 29th birthday at Peanut Butter Point with her hubby, Mr. Lentz, and their pals extreme athletes Christy Sauer and Ted Mahon

On the Air

Celebrity DJ, Jamie Lynn from KSPN hung out with boy toy JETT SEXTON at Peanut Butter Point. The Point, the site of numerous parties, goes by various monikers, Joint Point, Buckhorn, The Warming Shack, but everybody agrees------ it's one of the best views in Aspen.

Powerful Women

Lori (LB), Jen and Mindy are three of the top lady skiers on the mountain. They party together here at Peanut Butter Point. When asked about her sleeveless attire, LB said "welcome to the gun show".

Grill it up

It was a glorious final day at the SunDeck. The guys at the grill kept Aspen Spin FAT and happy all season.

The Nell Crew

The boyz at the Little Nell Ski Concierge couldn't wait for A-Spin to pack up and ski-daddle. It was a great season--and many thanks go out to (l to r)Spencer, Michael and Johnny, along with Ray and Robert (not shown).

The Butchers

Local band, The Butchers (as local as you can get) played their hard driving rock n roll at the base of Ajax.

Last Bucket 5:30

The Bucket stayed open until 5:30 on the last day, and the Buckaroos took full advantage, scoring the very last ride up. (l to r) Trey, Shorts, Scotty, Hess and Trout finally made it down to the party around 6 pm.

Dance, Dance, Dance

Two go-go girls helped set the stage for the BLOWOUT at SKY. Bikini dancers----always a good time.

Independent Contractors

Charla and Marla drove over from Vegas "just to party" according to Charla. Marla revealed, " Aspen PARTIES HARD!!"

Sex Sells

Charla and Marla enjoyed their weekend in Aspen. Word on the street: It was a lucrative couple of days for these 2 Las Vegas pros.

Danger Kittys

Local Danger Kittys, Beth and Chelsea came prepared to party. They dropped their ski clothes to reveal their skimpy bikini's. Who's ready for the beach? Aspen Spin sure is.

Denver Imports

These bikini clad rockettes were imorted from Denver just to dance on the deck at SKY. Yeah, Baby!! Meeeeeow.

One more bikini shot won't kill anybody---right? Guys?

Sunscreen?

After such a long and snowy winter let's hope these two nubile lassies, Beth Slater and Chelsea Vanvleet used copious amounts of sunscreen to protect themselves from the harsh, high altitude sun. The closing day at Ajax was only the second really warm spring day we've had this season.

Free advice to the OSO boys: If you want to sell more shirts--- sure, ---Chuck's OK, but we'd put an OSO T on the super-fine Brie. If that doesn't get OSO some serious attention---nothing will.

Freddie Ricard pals around with actor, director, producer --Fisher Stevens. Fisher spent a fair amount of time in A-Town this season. If he moves to Aspen we'll put him to work producing for A-Spin next season.

Matt Mammola and Jess Hodin look like they're about to crack up. Jessica is one of the prettiest girls in Aspen---- and she's smart too. Dartmouth---who knew? A-Spin is voting her ROOKIE of the YEAR. Good luck at Sotheby's next year, Jess. Don't worry girls, Matty M. will be back next season.

If we had only known that Aspen Valley Hospital had so many hotties we'd have checked in earlier.

Shoes and Socks

No party would be complete without a kilted Johnny Aspen and his two sweet gal pals. When Johnny was asked what he had on under his kilt, he smiled and replied "shoes and socks".

Zusanna and Natallia make friends easily everywhere they go. We don't know the guy on the right, but he appears happy.
